Festival continues today. I shall be "out and about."

Uchiha Sasuke - I apologize for not meeting with you yesterday. We will meet up today. If you do not find me, I will find you.

Haruno Sakura - You have been avoiding me. Have I upset you?

My name is Sai. This is my first public journal entry.

Yesterday I was assigned to the team of Hatake Kakashi, Haruno Sakura, and Uchiha Sasuke. They seem to refer to themselves often as Team 7. Today we are to have our first mission and develop our teamwork.

I am supposed to be a replacement for the missing, and presumed dead, Uzumaki Naruto. This decision does not seem to sit well with Haruno Sakura. If the others have such opinions as well they have not made them known.

I will try to work with them to the best of my ability.
